Two local financial planning firms – BMO Financial Services and Lifetime Financial Solutions – have announced plans to merge.
According to BMO Director and Senior Financial Planner Shane Lee, together the businesses would form one of Dalby’s largest and most experienced wealth creation firms.
Mr Lee said the new business would have team of nine advisers and client services staff.
“Both BMO and Lifetime are highly respected locally-owned financial planning firms. We have very similar approach to customer service and our company values are closely aligned. We believe the synergies between us will mean our clients will experience a seamless and enjoyable transition,” he said.
Lifetime Financial Solutions Managing Director Mal Smith said the new arrangement would be beneficial to clients.
“We will be able to offer an expanded depth of experience and expertise to our clients while continuing to provide access to an array of competitive and trusted financial products, investments and insurance services,” Mr Smith said.
The firms are in the process of finalising the details for merger and expect the new arrangement to be in place by May this year. The team from Lifetime is planning to move into the BMO Business Centre on Drayton Street in Dalby.
The new merged entity will continue to have a presence in Miles where Senior Financial Planner David Sweetapple is based.
The expansion adds to the depth of BMO’s services. The multifaceted business provides a full spectrum of business and financial services including accounting and taxation, business planning, communications and marketing, financial planning, loans and leasing and conference centre facilities.
