Your best you in business and in life

Locals looking for a boost to kick-start 2017 will learn how to live with the attitude, resilience and energy of a four-year-old at “Your Best You” Breakfast with National Keynote Speaker of the Year Bruce Sullivan on February 8 at the Dalby Leagues Club.

The breakfast is being organised by BMO Business Centre in conjunction with the Dalby Chamber of Commerce.

BMO Communications Manager Megan James said with it was a perfect time of year to stop and work out what we should be prioritising, and find ways to approach our businesses, our jobs and our lives with enthusiasm.

“Life is demanding. We can get caught up in the busy-ness of it all and start getting cynical, especially as we all struggle to get back into the work routine after returning from holidays and a busy festive season. We all face constant change and the increasing expectations from all areas of work and life. These ongoing pressures can take their toll even on the most positive and resilient of individuals.

“Bruce’s talk is designed to show us how to reclaim energy, flexibility, resilience and focus in our profession and life. He’ll also share insights on how to overcome obstacles and maximise your input with your colleagues and family.”

Mr Sullivan was managing his own businesses in his teens and by age 24 he had established his own million-dollar network of businesses and an extended track record of working with a wide range of private and public organisations, both in Australia and overseas.

Voted Australian Keynote Speaker of the Year by the National Speakers Association of Australia, he is reported to engage and inspire listeners to be the best they possibly can in a world where change is constant and relationships are fragile.

“A friend who is a conference organiser had Bruce speak at a conference a few years back and said he was one the best speakers they’ve ever had, some people even found the message life changing, so we’ve been working on trying to get him to Dalby… so excited that he is coming to town this year,” Mrs James said.

Breakfast with Bruce Sullivan will be held on Wednesday 8 February at 6.45am for a 7am start at the Dalby Leagues Club, Orpen Street. Tickets are $40 per person, include a buffet breakfast and are only available online at www.trybooking.com/OGNU. Tickets must be purchased by 6 February and are not available at the door.
