BMO clients are set to benefit from the latest national benchmark achieved by BMO, once again proving it’s a leading regional Australian accounting firm.
The Australian Tax Office recently contacted BMO to congratulate the practice for surpassing the annual performance benchmark for the 2017-18 lodgment program.
BMO exceeded the ‘85% or more’ on-time lodgment performance requirements for lodgment program with an impressive result of 87.5%, ranking it as a top tier tax agent.
The benchmarking framework acknowledges agents who have good practice management, lodge electronically and are consistently on time.
BMO Accountants Partner, David Briese was excited to share the news with the team at BMO.
“Our team aims to provide the highest service to our clients on a daily basis and this result recognises the hard work of each of our employees and how we work together as a team.”
Mr Briese said the rating gave BMO certain privileges that would assist clients in the future.
“This isn’t just an opportunity for us to give ourselves a pat on the back. With this rating comes essential benefits for our clients, for example, we’ll be able to retain access to extended lodgment due dates.”
He said the firm would continue to strive to uphold its status with the ATO.
“As an organisation it is important to take the time to celebrate our achievements, but we’ll continue to be looking for ways to improve our processes to attain our targets.”
