Neil Cameron

Senior Tax Consultant B.Comm FCPA FTIA GAICD JP (C.Dec)
As BMO’s senior taxation researcher, Neil provides specialist advice to the accounting teams uses. He has 25 years accounting experience and is respected for his ability to unravel complex taxation issues, and also conducts regular training sessions for team.

Born in South Australia, Neil moved with his family to Western Australia, and then later moved to Queensland to a sheep and cattle property near Millmerran.

Armed with a Bachelor of Commerce, Neil worked with a local accounting firm for 13 years. In 1999, he joined BMO.

Neil continues to manage his family’s 6000 acre sheep farming enterprise, giving him a high level of understanding of taxation for primary production. He is a fellow of both the Certified Practising Accountants and the Taxation Institute of Australia and is on the South East Leading Sheep Committee. Neil shares his time between the farm and a residence in Toowoomba. He enjoys a hit of golf and loves to travel.
