Administration Assistant

BMO is a top 100 accounting firm based in regional Queensland, with offices in Dalby, Roma and Charleville. We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Full Time Administration Assistant to join our busy accounting firm at our Dalby office. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment, is detail-oriented, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.


Key tasks include:

  • Administrative tasks including filing and scanning of clients records, preparation and scanning of legal documents for companies, maintenance of minute books, registers and other legal records for businesses;
  • Data input and preparation of documents, forms, letters, and registrations;
  • Preparation and review of correspondence for both internal use as well as communication to clients and external stakeholders;
  • Supporting the accounting team and Partners with general administration tasks;
  • Front desk reception duties, including answering phones and greeting clients; and
  • Errands, scheduling client appointments, managing calendars and phone calls with the ATO.


Ideally the successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years administrative experience;
  • Previous experience in creating and maintaining relationship with clients and external stakeholders; 
  • High level computer skills with the ability to adapt to a range of different software programs;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Professional presentation and a friendly, helpful attitude;
  • High level attention to detail and great time management skills;
  • Great communication both written and verbal;
  • The ability to work in a large team environment, within the values of BMO and positively contribute to our culture; and
  • The ability to self-start and strive toward goals independently.
