Assistant Accountant

With over 30 years of diverse experience across industries in New Zealand and Australia including trucking, hospitality, retail, and finance - Marlies brings a practical, grounded approach to her role as Assistant Accountant at BMO.

Originally from Dunedin, New Zealand, Marlies was drawn to BMO’s strong reputation and positive team environment. She enjoys the hands-on nature of GST preparation and is focused on further building her knowledge in tax and compliance.

Outside of work, Marlies enjoys Pilates, gardening, keeping active, and spending time with her grandchildren. One of her proudest achievements is raising two incredible sons and sharing 37 happy years of marriage.
